Taxi/Airport Transportation Question

I need a taxi or something to get H, me and our dog in his carrier from our apartment in Redmond to the airport on Dec. 23rd and back on Jan. 3rd. Any suggestions? The places I've been looking and the few suggestions I've had so far don't allow pets.

Re: Taxi/Airport Transportation Question

  • I don't know of anything.  Can you park at the airport? This would be comparable to car service, sans pets.  There's a valet-only garage options, too, for not too much more.

  • I feel like we've taken Link in an Orange Cab before....I want to say it's about $45 from downtown Redmond to the airport. Alternatively, you can take the 545 to downtown and take the light rail (pets are allowed on both). We also often drive and park in the masterpark lot.
  • you could do a one-way /one-day car rental from somewhere near home and drop off at the airport (and vice versa for your return trip). it'll be about $20-35 each way.

Jennlin! You're an effing genius... I honestly don't know why we didn't think of this before. Thank you!

Every car i've rented has a no pets clause, so be sure to double check before finalizing your arrangements.

Oooh. Thanks for the heads up. I'll check about that. He's literally going to be in his carrier from the time we leave the house to the time we get to my parents' house (poor puppy! good thing he likes it), so I hope they won't have a problem with it.

If yours isn't a major shedder (and you bring along a lint roller) they would never know...

  • yeah i figured since he'd be in a carrier, and just for the ride down (not a day at the beach), you'll be fine. we've taken my major-shedder before in a rental car and they didnt say anything, even though we weren't supposed to have pets!! (somebody totaled my parked car a few days before memorial day....i wasnt going to leave my baby at home because of someone else's mistake!)

He hardly sheds at all. He also isn't vocal - he doesn't even whine or bark, so yeah, I doubt they would even know.
