How is everyone doing?

Our treadmill got delivered last Saturday.  I was able to get on Monday, Tuesday, and last night.  I'll also hop on when I go to lunch. 

Today was weigh in day too.  I lost 2.6lbs!! yay!

  • That's awesome! I think I need to get myself a scale. Ugh. I haven't done much yet... I am still adjusting to my hectic new working mom schedule.  
  • I'm not much of an official Fit Chick anymore, but I have been keeping up on walking 2 miles or doing a prenatal workout DVD about 3 times a week.

    I will say that I have gained about 10lbs less at this point in my pregnancy than I had with Eli, so I'm hopeful that I'm not headed for another 50lb weight gain this time! I got it all off last time, but it'd be nice to have less of a hill to climb. :)

  • Doing well.. I've lost 6 pounds since last Monday. Cutting carbs an finally moving (mins on bike or elliptical) has helped! Hoping to get to 15 minutes by the end of the weekend. Last day of PT is today! I've got 5 more poundsto go to be pre-op!

    I'm not doing so great. I've only been going to yoga once a week because they cut my favorite teacher's classes and on weekends, I usually don't get out of the house in time.

    But the upside is that I haven't gained any weight and am holding steady, and am working on eating better/less.  

  • My biggest focus lately has been to simply watch what I'm eating more in terms of quality and making sure I'm eating fairly consistently throughout the day so I don't gorge when I get home.

    I had another doctor's appointment and am up 4 pounds since my last appointment, which means I'm up 3 pounds since I got pregnant. The doctor predicts I'll gain about a pound a week for the next 10 or 12 weeks and then taper down again. I'm only supposed to gain 15-25 overall, so I'm working on keeping that.

    Next week we leave for vacation and that will be a blessing and a curse. I'm going to be getting a TON more exercise than I've been getting. But I'm also going to have very little control of what is available to eat and may eat more than I normally do. Hopefully it all balances out and I don't come back huge.

  • ran 3 miles yesterday.  set out to run 3 today, felt like i was going to get blown away in the wild wind, so only ran 2.

  • I have not been doing well. at all. I have had to work early and stay late all week, so I haven't been able to get to the gym before work. On top of that, parents think candy is the best gift to bring to teachers... so I've probably gained a ton!
