Work Confession
I'm working a 24h shift today. My team in general gets fewer admissions overnight than the other teams. I'm going to go to the call room and try to go to sleep now at 7:30 pm and almost hope the other teams forget I'm here and can help then. I know I won't sleep the night through, but I feel like I should try to sleep when I can before I have to check on kids again overnight.
Shhh, I'm hiding. I hope the ER treats us well tonight.
