I need 1 really great baby shower activity
Just one.
My Aunt and I are hosting a sprinkle (smaller more private than a shower) in January for a cousin. We weren't going to play any games at first, but now we've decided we just need one really great activity.
Suggestions.

Re: I need 1 really great baby shower activity
I dig this because something is happening while something else is happening.
I played Multitasking Mommy at a recent shower. It was a lot of fun, depending on your crowd.
Gather some baby clothes or a few packs of onesies in different sizes, a bunch of clothes pins, a long string/rope for a clothes line, a cell phone, and a baby doll.
Blindfold and spin participant 3 times. Participants have 1 minute to hang as many clothes on the line as they can, while holding the phone and the baby doll at the same time, without dropping either.
(I can't remember if we had 30 seconds or 1 minute. I was able to hang 6 items.) We had our clothes stacked on a chair at the beginning of the clothesline.
I agree with Katie, most shower games = UGH.
But my SILs came up with one at my baby shower that I had never seen or played before, and it ended up being really fun for everyone (go figure). They came up with a bunch of TV shows featuring families (The Cosbys, Full House, The Brady Bunch, etc.). They printed out the show names with lines under each one that corresponded with the number of kids in that family. (So there were five lines under Cosbys, three lines under Full House, etc.) Everyone got a copy of this sheet, and the instructions were that everyone had to name (write down) all of the kids in each family.
There were TV shows from different generations, so some were harder for the younger people to get, while others were harder for the older people.
To make it a little more exciting (and so we didn't spend an hour playing a game), we did it as a "race"--gave everyone their sheets, face down, and on the count of three, everyone turned them over and raced to complete the lists as quickly as they could. Whoever shouted out "I'm done!" first got their answers checked, and if they were all right, they got the prize.

I generally like shower bingo, but I don't think it would work for a Sprinkle where most of the gifts will be clothes or diapers.
The Mommy Purse game has gone over well at some of the showers I have hosted. Guests go through their purses and get points for things a mom would carry - the more unusual, the higher the points. Guest with highest points wins. If you're interested, let me know and I can send you sheet with the list of things and point values that I have used.
This sounds really fun!! I vote for this game.

This isn't a game, but it was a lot of fun!
I bought some nautical themed fabric at Joannes (to match the shower theme) and set up a "photo booth" at the party. Which was really just hanging the fabric on the wall. I had a giant baby bottle prop and people stood in front of the fabric and took photos. I had a guest book with die-cut onesies that everyone signed with advice for the mom. Then after the shower, I got the photos developed and made a scrapbook with the onesie and the photo. The mom absolutely love it!
I loved Heather's TV game idea!
I also like the game where you ask guests to bring their baby photo - then put them all up on a wall with numbers and people have to guess who is who.
