can I just say that I do not like cutting tshirts for a quilt. The suckers stretch even with the interfacing!! UGH.
My mantra for the day:
I can do this and not kill anyone
I can do this and not kill anyone
I can do this and not kill anyone
...where is my wine??.....
I can do this and not kill anyone....

It doesn't help that I procrastinated in doing this! As long as I can get the top done for christmas, then I will be ok. It can be quilted after the new year.
And this will be the last tshirt quilt I do.. that is for sure..
watch me.. I will eat those words....
LOL!
I said the same thing and I am already planning a memory quilt with DS's baby clothes.

Don't let it!!! I am a HORRIBLE perfectionist! and I mean horrible! If I drop a complicated stitch while knitting, nine times out of ten, I will rip it all apart and start all over again.!!! I have a hard time trying to let go and remember it doesn't matter all that much, that it is being made from the heart and with a lot of meaning!!
And that I flat out procrastinated!! (My middle name!!).
If you need any assistance please let me know! I create custom t-shirt quilts and also sell t-shirt quilting kits - it even includes the interfacing. Sounds like you might just need a heavier interfacing if your t-shirts are still stretching....

Umm I prefer to support my local yarn shops and local quilt shops when it comes to materials and assistance. Thanks.
