Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I haven't been able to post for a while because my computer completely stopped working. It was a lemon from the day I bought it from Dell 3 years ago and I should have returned it immediately. I had been backing up my files the week before it crapped out because I had this feeling. Luckily my dad gave me his old laptop so I have re-joined the world!
My iPhone doesn't let me post - does anyone else have that issue?

welcome back! I nearly freaked yesterday when I couldn't log back into my computer - kept saying my password was wrong... turned out one of the keys wasn't working until I gave it some TLC. Awesome your dad had a back up ready for you!
No iPhone here, so can't speak to that...
