Dear Secret Santa,
You made my day. The mail carrier rang the bell with a package and the mail. I didn't recognize the address so I figured it was from my secret Santa. I received Jinxed (a mystery by one of my favorite authors...one I often post about reading her mystery series,) a red mug, and hot chocolate!!! It is perfect b.c. I am on break now and can read while enjoying the hot chocolate. My note said she tried to find a Cardinals mug but couldn't find one so she got me a red mug. It is perfect b.c. I really only have Christmas mugs and some mugs that were DH's that are now mine I guess, so this is my very own non Christmas mug!!!! I love it!!! Thank you very much!!! What a thoughtful gift!!!

I was worried about the mug b/c we have like a billion mugs, so I always assume everyone else does too.....I was trying to somehow incorporate the Cards for you, but all their stuff is a bit pricey for our limit - guess that what happens when your team wins the series 
but that's how we got to the red mug - Cards colors

Thank you!!! I love it!!! I knew it had to be someone who is very active on this board and who knew I was a huge Cards fan!! I thought I got a book since I usually do the weekly book posts, lol. Thank you so much!! I know it took time to wrap each one and put it together and I know you don't have a lot of spare time with Samantha and getting ready for Christmas. Thanks again!!!
We do have a lot of mugs but like I said most were originally DH's so it is nice to have one of my own that is not Christmas. We use the Christmas ones all year long, lol. I do have one Cardinals mug that DH sent me flowers in one time when we were dating. I know I will catch DH using this red mug. I am going to have some hot chocolate in it today.
I couldn't wait to open it. When it arrived, I was tearing it open. We were going to the airport to say goodbye to my brother, SIL, and nephew who are going to Sweden for two weeks to visit her family. I was sad my nephew was leaving for two weeks (although am grateful he lives here the majority of the time) so it was a nice surprise and came on the day I needed it!!!!
Well, I knew you liked to read and was trying to also use facebook to help me stalk you for more ideas, haha. Since that brad paisley book was only out in hardcover, that's why I asked for other ideas. My favorite thing to do is curl up with a book and a cup of tea or something and read, so I figured you'd like it
I am just glad you enjoyed it so much 
I was a little nervous b/c I've never done a secret santa like this, but it all worked out. Enjoy the book and let me know if it's worth reading - I am a huge Mary Higgins Clark fan, but haven't read anything by her daughter.
