PAIF/SAIF/PGAL welcome
you were going to participate while pregnant? wha? does not compute.
Oh god no! Last year I wanted to sign up for this year, and then when they signed up I was about, oh I don't know, 8 weeks or something? So I couldn't do it. After reading Jennys blog I'm thinking maybe I would have died if I had done it anyway:) The running, geez.
haha, yea the tough mudder races are hardcore.
I bet you would really like it!!! It was definitely challenging and the running part was no joke. You can complete Tough Mudder without being a hardcore runner for sure, though make sure you have a decent base mileage. I personally think I had as much fun because I'm currently the strongest at running I've ever been.
I really want to do this again next year but it really depends on my status of pregnancy (aka if I am or not- currently not FYI). Some of those obstacles were legit dangerous and I wouldn't do it even a few weeks pregnant... I mean really, you actually get electrocuted (with low Amps of course).
Race PRs {5K-23:55} {10K-48:54} {15K-1:24:30} {13.1-1:53:39} {26.2-4:30:43}
Your recap was exactly what I would have written if I did a recap. Question, my team and I did it in just over 4 hours which was horrible but then we realized that at at least 4 of the obstacles we had to wait 20-30+ minutes to participate. Your time was great, did you have that same problem? We were in the 10:20 group but it technically didn't start until 10:30-10:35.
