I've been promoted or maybe demoted
Who knows. I'm now "and family" on the Christmas cards my ILs are sending. It's just me and him, they all know my name. I'm not upset by it, in fact it's made me laugh.
So I'm wondering if "and family" means they've actually accepted that after 10 years together I'm sticking around or if it means they're unable to even write my name without curling up into a ball and sobbing hysterically.
Either way I'm tossing the envelopes in the trash before my husband sees them just because he's already so angry at them, I see no point in adding fuel to the fire over something so petty.
Until you are happy with who you are, you will never be happy with what you have.

Just me. We don't have children. It's typical of his family.
I'm just thankful that he has been very aware of the way his family has treated me. He is cutting them out of his life. They aren't aware yet but he won't be seeing them at Christmas. Probably next Christmas the cards will read "Mr. Grim and that b*tch who stole him."

You should sent them a card addressed to "Residents" above their address!
