I knew when the phone rang at 10 til 6 this morning, it had to be bad news. I can tell on caller ID it is a friend from church, but when I answered, all I could really hear was sobbing screams. It took minutes to get to understand what he was trying to say - his daughter-in-law was scheduled for a c/section tomorrow, and last night she didn't feel much movement, went to the doctor to check, and the little guy had passed. (He was calling me to take over his duties on the sound board at church).
He's such an incredibly composed, calm, smart, businessman, and to hear him scream in pain at having to say the words was heart breaking.
I talked to the grandma-to-be this afternoon, and she was heartsick. Her son asked them to take down all the Christmas decorations while they were at the hospital, but how do you do that when their 3 year old is so excited for Christmas?
If you have any prayers to spare for baby Caleb's family, send them their way.
Re: Hugs those babies
many prayers for their family, that is heartbreaking. I am so sorry for their family's loss.

I'm so sorry - sending positive TPJ to the family.
A co-worker went thru this about a year ago (same scenario, full term baby) and it was so hard for them. I cannot imagine that kind of loss. Thanks for posting Rox, a good reminder of what's important this holiday season.
