Anyone have a Dyson Slim cordless stick vacuum?

I need a cordless for fast, quick and ease of use in between cleanings. We have two dogs and two cats and now an 8.5 month old baby who is very mobile.  Want cleaner floors more often but procrastinate because I don't want to pull out the big heavy monster and fight with the cord and all the filter cleaning!

If you have one do you like it, would you recommend it? TIA

  • Yes. Go buy one. I have three dogs (chow and GSD shed a ton!) and it gets used frequently. We use it on the MAX mode, but I'd still say it manages to get all the big tumbleweeds and most of the stuff from about 1k sq ft of our main floor before dying. I will caution you though that the attachment with the rolling bristles is awful for us because our chow's hair is so long it gets tangled in there. The one without the bristles has been on there nearly permanently though because we like it so much.

oooh, so happy to hear this review :) We have a Root 6 but the battery is dying, and a new one is $80 - i'd rather buy a new vac... and was looking at this one!

We have 2 very hairy dogs - and yeah, bristles never work for us either :)

I think i know what I'm getting DH for valentine's day! haha - and yes, he does all the vacuuming and would love this :)

I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.
