As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Ok, this is going to sound really lame and I know that.
Remember when I joined a knitting club a few months ago? Well our knitting club had a little Christmas party today and now we are off for school holidays and won't meet again until January 27th. Anyway, one of the ladies asked me if I'd like to get coffee sometime over the break and we exchanged phone numbers! I feel like I've just been asked out on a date by a boy I have a crush on! Silly, I know, but it takes me a long time to make friends and this will be the first friend I've made outside of my DH's family since I've been here. She's one that I met on my first day in the group (there were only 3 of us there that day and anywhere up to 10 of us any other day) and really felt drawn to because I find her very interesting.
Yay for a potential coffee date - even though I don't drink coffee!!!

DH and I moved cross country mere days after our wedding to a remote military base that has a reputation for being a miserable place to live. I may or may not have cried a fears tears when I made my first friend there. She is still a dear friend. I know how much it means to make a friend of your own accord (ie, not your DH's family). Yeah YOU!!
