QOTD Monday

What's left on your holiday to-do list before the festivities begin?

Re: QOTD Monday

  • - I have to get DH's stocking stuffers, and maybe one more smallish gift for him

    - Order my mom's and brother's gifts, although I already know what I'm getting

    - figure out what we're eating for Christmas Day

    - figure out NYE plans

Overall, I think we're pretty well set, and don't expect to be stressed out over the next week.  That is unless I remember something by reading other people's lists!

  • We already did Hanukah with B's family, and my family doesn't really do anything anymore since there are no kids.  My list is super short:

    1)  Get present for my assistant.  I already know what I'm getting her; I just need to go buy it;

    2)  Figure out what we're doing for NYE.

  • Let's see ... well, we still have to get ourselves out to Michigan. Once there, I have a bit of wrapping to do, but that shouldn't take too long. I also need to get to our gym to set up some sports massages for Josh; just a treat in addition to his personal training sessions. I also need to finalize some get-togethers in MI with a few friends.

Not too much to do. I can't wait to get on that plane Friday morning!

  • I have my gift list out in front of me as we speak!

I still need to finish up gifts for my dad, my step mom, FIL, MIL, Erin the housemate/border, my paternal granmother, Tim and Shannon and the girls.

Plus finish up picture's that we're gifting all the parents and grandparents.

    Plus finish baking/packing the baking.

    Phew.

  •  - decide which presents I'm giving niece and nephew for Christmas and wrap them.  Their birthdays are end of April and end of May so I have bought enough presents for Christmas and their birthdays so I don't need to run around finding their birthday presents with a new born

     - decide on the last part of my Dad's present.  I think it's just going to be another gift card but I'm just figuring out from where

     - look at what stocking stuffers I have for Mark and decide if I'm set.  We aren't doing presents so just stockings pretty much just filled with candy.

  • I have so much to do.

I need to finish decorating the tree.  I keep saying I am going to go downstairs and get the ornaments, but have yet to do so.  Currently we only have the 2 (thanks to Neptoon Girl) on the tree.

I still need to finish Christmas shopping for my family and DH.  Yes I am that girl. I have taken Thursday off, and plan on dropping the boys off at daycare then finishing my Christmas shopping.

Then I have all the wrapping to do.

  • -lots and lots of wrapping. DH said he'd do it while i was gone, but I sort of like doing the wrapping, even if it's terrible when I'm done.

-make ornaments for the grandparents. We're going to try and do acrylic paint on clear balls with Jackson's hands and then footprints in the clay and see what happens.

-baking cookies with everybody, maybe gingerbread house wars, but i doubt it.

-make wine basket for gift swap with my family. thank goodness for Yankee swap, or i'd have a ton of gifts to buy every year. this is $20 and done.

I think that's about it, so it shouldn't be too bad. For the most part, holidays are a ton of running around.

    - take the boys to see the christmas lights tomorrow night

    - lots of wrapping to be done.

    - i would like to get a few small things for DH for his stocking. I have him a couple of things but not everything I want him to have.

  • All I have to do is wrap my last presents. I am really excited to be finished this early.

  • I have presents to wrap for our families, though I'm probably just going to throw them into gift bags since I have a million of them.

I had hoped to decorate more, but I guess that's not a top priority... I'll do it if I have time.

  • I need to buy my dad's gift. I'll hopefully take care of this today.

I have to finish my wrapping (I'm still waiting for a few gifts to be delivered).

I have a little bit more baking to do and then I need to cook the dish that I'm taking for Christmas Eve dinner.

  • Nothing! But that's easy to say when you don't do anything for Christmas.

Oh, I guess I could say I have to do the grocery shopping for our Christmas Eve/Christmas Day dinners. It's going to just be the two of us, so I'm planning something fun to keep me entertained in the kitchen.

  • Not much.  I want to make cookies with Jim.  I want to get one more thing for him to open on Christmas.  I need to figure out what/how to pack for our trip.
