Hmmm let's see.
Today is pretty normal.
Tomorrow is our Holiday luncheon at work. Potluck. The company provides brisket and ham.
Wednesday is our work holiday cocktail hour. they will also be announcing the winner of Salesperson of the Year. I don't think it's me but it will be fun still.
Thursday I think we're going to see former BFF so we can give her daughter her Christmas gift. I may not be very good friends with her mom anymore but I still love her daughter and want to give her a gift.
Friday I only work until noon, and MIL and SIL are coming up. I think we're going out to dinner and maybe doing our Christmas with them? I don't know if we're doing it now or if we're waiting for next weekend when we go to Russellville.
Saturday we'll just be preparing for Santa to come! We will bake cookies and make him a key since we don't have a fireplace. We will have our traditional Christmas Eve lasagna dinner.
Sunday we will see what Santa brought us!
Today: Christmas party at work
Tuesday: Retirement party at work for one of the ladies
Wednesday: Cleaning the house top to bottom
Thursday: Dartball & Bowling
Friday: Off work, finishing up last minute shopping then relaxing
Christmas Eve: Work then dinner with my parents at our house
Christmas Day: Church, Brunch at Nana's then dinner at MILs house
Tonight - hopefully going to a holiday party.. Charlotte has a cold and every time I lay her flat to sleep she throws up. Its like the exorcist. I am stuck on what to do to get her to sleep. (open for suggestions) its just mucus, but still...
Tomorrow-Thursday - not much... just trying to hang in there and make it through the work week. I still need to make a few things I pinned on pinterest I bought supplies for, wrap presents a buy a few more.
Friday starts the madness- Gmas on Friday night for Christmas Celebration, Saturday- Marks moms, Sunday - another grandmas, Monday my parents.
not much til the weekend to be honest. It will be a miracle if I make it that far.
I really need to start thinking about packing.
Friday I have a 12-hour drive home. Thank God the raised the speed limit in kansas to 75.
Saturday I'll be heading over to my parents' house (we're staying with the ILs this year) to finish wrapping presents and help me mom start cooking. Then we're heading to church, then back to my parents house for Christmas Round 1 with her family.
Then Sunday, up early with the ILs for Christmas Round 2. Then over to my parents house for brunch and Round 3. Then off to Scott's grandpa's house for Round 4.
Have you tried letting her sleep in her car seat, or a swing perhaps? Something that let's her be somewhat upright?
Poor baby girl. I hope she feels better soon!
Today I have a ton of shi!!t to do including make spinach artichoke dip and a banoffee pie and then tonight we're going to my best friend's house to hang out and exchange presents. It will be good to hang out for a little while
The rest of the week is really just wrapping presents and getting things ready for Chrismakkah.
Saturday we'll go down to Providence to help my mom with stuff, watch movies and eat the traditional Christmas Eve sushi.
Sunday everyone will be coming over to my mom's house for Christmas and it will be fun. I'm really looking forward to it this year
)
Naps *yawn*
Charlies first Christmas
What's that?
It is delicious, is what it is..It's a graham cracker crust, a layer of dulce de leche, a layer of bananas and topped with homemade whipped cream.
You had me a duche de leche.....NOM.
Today: laundry and then going to do my holiday food shopping
Tomorrow: must finish wrapping my gifts
Wed: going to dinner with my Bff's to exchange gifts
Thursday: brunch with the moms from Teaghans swim class
Friday: exchanging gifts with some more friends
Saturday: start cooking, having my IL's over for Christmas Eve lasagna and then having my family over for Christmas Eve appetizers and some gifts.
Sunday: cooking Christmas day dinner and seeing what Santa brought Teaghan
and some where in there I need to make some baked goods, I think I am going to make some truffles that Stees accidentally emailed the recipe for to me.
1) Having today off
2) Christmas parties (all I asked for this year was clothing - new wardrobe, yay!)
3) Having my mom and stepdad come stay with us.
4) Having the holiday hours end on the 24th at work. Closing at midnight is ridiculous and some nights I've been there til 1 am after a 10 hour shift. December is brutal.
A day behind but:
A 4 day work week, took yesterday off and babysat my friends 2 year old son
Christmas Eve get togethers
Another 3 day weekend coming up
This? sounds amazing.
