Got my Christmas bonus...
...in the form of one dollar bills. Man, my boss's dad cracks me up! He said he had to go to three banks to get enough (it was 1,000 of them).
He gave them to me in a sweater purse type thing and when I opened it I burst out laughing.
Now I feel bad that all I got him was a trash can, but there's nothing that man likes more than an empty trash can. At least it's a UT trash can.

Jealous of your awesome employer!
Ditto this!!
Nice gift! & Ditto the stripper/waitress thing. I would cash my $1's in at the gas station or grocery store.
Usually when people get $1's instead of a $100 bill, it means there's a stripper coming. ????????????
We don't have a bank here since we're USAA so I'm having my mom deposit it and write me a check. I have no idea how long it would take me to spend 1000 one dollar bills.
Can you imagine rolling up to Kroger for weekly grocery shopping and having to count out like 100 dollars...oh my!
I used 1's all the time when I was a bartender - mostly to pay for more drinks!
50% tax?? That's insane!! Or do you mean 50% of the bonus is taxed?
At my old job we didn't get a bonus at all. Nothing, not even a card.
You'd have to pry me out of here, but you can have it when we move! Or you can be my assistant for the summer months when we're slammed! That would be so awesome!
congrats!
Bonus checks are always taxed at a higher percent than regular paychecks. I guess the government decides that if you get a bonus, they should too. D!cks.
What's a Christmas bonus?!?!?!?!
I kid.... well sort of... Super Jealous!! The hospital isn't even giving up our holiday party this year.
