Gift list ideas -- WWNW (what would nesties want?)
My mom was fussing at me yesterday for having so little on my Amazon wish list. She's right -- I really don't have a lot. Over half of what is on there is for the kids or DH. I have a book or two I would like and just added a couple Christmas CDs and a couple cookbooks. But beyond that and what else was on my list, I don't have much. Cookie sheet, new cookware, new pizza cutter, DVD of an old movie, gloves -- uh and then I kind of peter out. I really need some new clothes but that involves me going out and shopping and trying things on so doesn't suit my mom's need to buy something to wrap on top of the check she sent us.
So what you are all asking for Christmas?

My list sounds about as exciting as yours. I asked for (from my parents, MIL, BIL & FIL):
8" chef knife
3 kindle books
crockpot
pizza stone
spatulas
Soda Stream
yoga pants from Old Navy
Fleece half zip pull over
Bissel steam & sweep
Seeing as how my parents would normally wipe out the entire list themselves, I got harassed a lot for more things. . . but I just don't need anything right now (well, nothing that can be purchased. DH getting a job would be awesome). I feel your pain!
No more baby siggie pics. Boo.
I don't have a Christmas wish list because we don't exchange adult gifts other than just small token gift in the $10 range and letting N pick out and buy a small gift for the adults he loves. But things on my current plan to buy for myself list are: a raspberry colored fleece jacket, a raspberry and black water proof ski parka, a small rice steamer, a new set of pots and pans, a new vacuum cleaner, and an electric, flat surface grill.
Is your mom just sending stuff? If so, I'd put clothes from stores you like on there. You can always return if they don't fit right--most stores let you return online stuff in the stores.
How about blankets? Slippers? Gift cards to restaurants for date nights? I put some stuff like memberships to museums or the zoo on my list. It's for the kids, too, but it's nice for me as well. Mazagine subscriptions?
