I knew my cousin's wedding would be unbelievable, but I honestly felt like I was in an episode of Platinum Weddings. Holy crap -- that's really all I can say! And the funny thing is that their lifestyle is so different from anything I know that it's impossible to be jealous, even in the slightest.
The weekend started out great with all of our accomodations being paid for. My aunt and uncle generously footed the bill for our stay at the Golden Plough Inn. FF and I shared a room with B and it was HUGE! Complete with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub. There was plenty of room for B's PnP and for him to run all over the place. He loved it! Peddlers Village was so quaint and full of little shops. I'm bummed I didn't get to go into a single one, since I was busy with bridesmaid stuff, but that's ok.

The rehearsal had an Ugly Christmas Sweater theme and that was so much fun. My cousin, the brother of the groom, took it to the extreme and came dressed as Buddy the Elf! The rehearsal dinner was held at my aunt and uncle's house. There was an open bar (complete with a live bartender), a huge selection of appetizers, and then dinner was Philly cheesesteaks, mac & cheese, pulled pork, etc. It was delicious! Dessert was an assortment of Christmas desserts and a hot cocoa bar. Oh, and there were party buses taking people to and from the rehearsal dinner and the Inn.
Bride & Groom

The wedding was so beautiful. The ceremony was held in a quaint little church my aunt and uncle attend regularly. There decor had a very woodsy/outdoor feeling with pine branches, garland (live), blue and white and green hydrangias (sp?) and tons of candles. I don't have any pics of the ceremony because I was in it, but it was one of the most personalized and meaningful ones I've been to. Here are some pics we took before the ceremony, at my aunt and uncle's house.

The reception was unbelievable. No detail was overlooked, from the provided transportation from the ceremony to the the cocktail hour with passed appetizers AND stations set up, to the open (top shelf) bar, the decor, the 4 course meal, to the quality of the vendors. I'll simply let the pictures speak for themselves.

OMG it looked like a winter wonder land. I wonder how much they spent though; yikes! The BM dresses looked so nice; I love royal/navy blue. So classy. The bride's dress was stunning. I wish I had gotten a lace dress. I love lace.
I'm glad you had a wonderful weekend and that Brody was so well behaved.
AND, that photo you took of him at the 9/11 memorial made me tear up a bit.

And now you know why when we were all planning I always complained about how much weddings cost (and the expectations of them) around here! But that looks like it was absolutely spectacular. We originally considered that area for our wedding since I grew up a couple of towns over but in the end got married close to where B grew up instead. And we had actually booked that exact room in the inn for our babymoon, but canceled and decided the money would be better spent for things like diapers and baby clothes. Small world!
By the way, you looked absolutely amazing. I love that photo of you and ff in front of the stairs.

I can't even guess how much that wedding (and the events surrounding it) cost. Gorgeous though!
