Some random ?'s

Yes I am going to be a postwhore today! I am not on the computer very often and the baby is sleeping!

1. I want to make DS a t-shirt tie like this: http://www.saltwater-kids.com/2008/10/tie-shirt-tutorial_08.html Has anyone made one of these and not sewn around the edges? Would it still turn out ok? I want to make a Christmas one so it would only be worn a couple of times.

2. Crap I forgot what my other question was! I will have to ask it later....

  • If you use regular Heat & Bond (NOT the lite stuff in the purple package), it's meant to not be sewn. But if you use the Lite, it will come off in the wash. The tie shirt isn't hard to sew, as long as you have a machine and take your time. I've made a few of those, pretty easy.

  • I would sew them but I have to figure out my sewing machine first! Lol...I am taking it home with me for the holidays so my grandma can teach me how to use it. It's an older machine and I have no manual so I am pretty much lost but I really want to make DS a Christmas one cause they are so stinkin cute!
