She has finals this week and man alive I do not remember my high school finals being as challenging as her's will be this week.  Heck I am not sure my college ones were even that challenging!  She has 2 today, 2 tomorrow, and one Wednesday.  She is so stressed out since this is her first set of finals!

Her one final today is an oral final, but they had to prepare for 42 essay questions that were completely different than any of the blogs they have done all semester.  Each student will present 2 of the questions but they will not know which one as they will each draw a number when it is her turn to present.

    Wow that sound really difficult! Curriculum really has gotten harder in many schools. What used to be taught in second grade is now taught in K and 1st grade. With the new math standards, math curriculum will now be getting a whole lot harder and it was already higher than when many of us went to school. Good luck to her. It sounds like she's working really hard.

    That's a crazy amount of stress and preparation for 9th graders! But Summer's a rock star.  I'm sure she'll do awesome!

    Definitely sounds like she is doing college level work!  At the rate she is going, she's going to breeze through high school AND college!

    A ended up with ulcers in her gums from her stress to the point I had to take her to the Dr. for a scrip of gel to rub on them. :(  It's crazy what kids go through now days.  Best wishes to S with her finals!
