Moms! I need advice please
ok so i was supposed to build
for peanut for chirstmas. I got her a bunch of dress up clothes etc.
but since we are unable to go back to sassafrass for few weeks i don't have my tools nor work area to build.
now i found this in ikea that may work and i would add a rod to the tallest cubby and the boxes for shoes, tiaras etc. but do you think she will climb the step like top?

Thoughts and suggestions would be great. thanks. I would also like to put this on wheels but again worried that peanut may turn it into an amusement ride.
sometimes all you really need in life is a pink wig.
Re: Moms! I need advice please
IMO, Every kid is different, but I'm pretty sure mine would try to climb it. With that said, I wouldn't put wheels on it. Could you add something to the top of the lowest "step" so she can't climb it?
It's adorable though and perfect for dress up clothes...love it!
they have one unit
your ikea mock up is such a great idea!
spikes on the steps will teach her not to climb them
go for the one box piece instead - love the mirror idea and basket on the bottom.
your peanut is one lucky nut!
I have BOTH those pieces in our playroom. J climbs them easily. Though he mainly sits on first "step" now. I do NOT think they are what you are looking for when it comes to dress up holder. The single is too narrow and I see it holding without cramming 3 outfits that is it. The bigger one is narrower openings. So 2 outfits tops each section. IMO keep looking. I will try and post a picture when I get home. But measurements/comparison think 1 Melissa Doug puzzle smaller side width for 3 step one and 1 puzzle length wise for single one.
good point on the size Navy. I have to google melissa and doug. no clue who they are.
Melanie - i super pink puffy heart peanut. (and the other nieces and nephew) i just get to see her more than the others.
hmmmm this is why i come you to gals for advice! i think she would be ok with the hangers since she is little miss i can do it all by myself right now. I love the idea of the mirror on one side and hooks on the other.
Maybe s hooks would be a good idea too....
