We got our first "sprout" sized box last Thursday and I am a huge fan of the new size. It's the perfect amount of produce for us for a week. Granted, an order of apples had 4 apples in the old standard sized box, but in this box we only got 3. Or 1 grapefruit instead of 2. But anyways, we got rainbow chard, lettuce, carrots, Yukon gold potatoes, brussels sprouts, salad greens, apples, grapefruit and kiwis. They also sent us a pound of fair trade coffee and a little box of Theo pink salt caramels (swoon) as a "welcome back" gift. Did I not already love them enough??
Anyways, since this box is a little cheaper, it's perfect to have it come every week instead of every other. When we only got biweekly boxes, it was a little more than we would use and some of it would be less than good by the time we got around to using it. I'd highly recommend - it's a good size for two (really hungry!) people.
Re: F/U re: Full Circle new box sizes
I'm really enjoying the new box sizes too.
I heart FCF so much.

ditto. We're able to make the one box last two weeks so it's cheaper overall for us to do it the old way. I totally like the idea of having a small box every week, but probably won't switch any time soon.

The sprout boxes are $27.95, but they have several options...

I'm really glad you guys were able to keep your twice a week schedules/box sizes too. That arrangement worked ok for us, but I think we'll do much better getting a slightly smaller amount every week. It's definitely more convenient so far. But, everyone's produce consumption habits are different, and I think it's really great of FCF to let its loyal fan base stick to what works for them.
