Pot Luck - what should I bring?

We are having a pot luck at work on Thurs, maybe 6 people have signed up so far and half of it is desserts.  There are some side dishes (some cheesy thing, green bean something, and a meatball cranberry something).  I want to do something easy in the crockpot, start it the night before so it is ready in the morning.  I was thinking pulled pork but I don't want to buy a bunch of rolls on top of the meat.  Any ideas?

  • What about something like this with tortilla chips? I haven't made it, but it has like 1400 good reviews, and sounds really easy. Everything else I can think of is side dish stuff. . .

No more baby siggie pics. Boo.

  • Could you "team up" with someone who hasn't signed up yet and ask them to bring rolls?

  • Costco has giant bags of rolls for about $5 in their deli area, they are really good too. All you'll need to do is slice them.

Sweet, thanks!  DH is heading there after work (sucks to be him!), I asked him to look and see if they have some that aren't crazy expensive.  I will tell him to keep his eyes peeled!

And yeah I thought about asking someone else to bring rolls, but some of the people I work with aren't very responsible with that kind of stuff and with my luck we would end up with all this meat and no bread ;)

  • Doh!  Now my british boss is telling me that isn't "robust and savory" enough!  HAHA!  Man, just listening to him talk makes me laugh.  He told me to make a beef bourgignon, hahaha!
