We need to take dessert to BFF Christmas Day. I have no thoughts. Her mom is bringing a homemade pumkin pie. DH doesn't do much fruit so fruit pies are out and we are having chocolate cake Xmas eve. What ya got? Extra points for recipes.

Brownies. Okay, okay, so they are like cake but if you grab the ghiradelli triple chocolate brownie mix and go, super easy.
Chocolate silk pie -- um, I'd just buy it from Village Inn.
Sweet potato casserole -- I swear this tastes like pecan pie. I posted the recipe around thanksgiving but can try to track it down.
Cheesecake! betting a lot of the gals will have great cheesecake recipes
ETA: Oh and PW's recipe for Sweet Cream is awesome. You could also serve it over angel food cake.

This pumpkin cheesecake is easy and SO GOOD! I'm not crazy about the sour cream topping so I do whipped cream instead, and obv. I leave off the Halloween decorations. Everyone loves it.

This cake is a cross between a flourless chocolate cake and a cheesecake, so good and easy too (can be made ahead/frozen).
This espresso gingerbread cake is also nice for the holidays.

This is one of my favorites to bring to holiday gatherings. It is very, very pretty and it tastes great too.
