I failed the exam again. I thought I had done really well this time around. And to make matters worse, the girl I took it with who didn't study at all... she passed.
I feel like crap about myself today, but the following text conversation with H made me giggle.
Imoan's H: By no means are you a moron
Imoan: I think I might be.
Imoan's H: Yup, most idiots can read and enjoy War and Peace in 13 days; then continue onto Dickens on the same day. You're right.
Imoan: I still feel stupid (and AHEM... it was 12 days!)
Imoan's H: Bears, you're the Dr. John Nash of literature. He thought that he worked for the government and found missiles in Cuba. You think that you live in Stars Hollow and read.
Imoan's H: The moral of this story: you're both crazy and genius in your own ways.

Re: Boo
Awww, I'm sorry you didn't pass but I'm delighted that your H is so freaking awesome.
I'm sorry about the exam. You aren't stupid.
My mom always says, "sometimes you eat the bear & sometimes the bear eats you."
Do you get another shot at the exam?
As long as I'm willing to pay for it ($1300 plus book fees), I can have as many shots as the test as I want. I haven't decided if I want to try again. I'll give it some time and sleep on it.
I was tearing up when I first saw "fail" on the site. But the second I found out the other girl passed, I had to say to Coworker BFF "I'll be right back" (she instantly knew why) and had to literally high tail it out of the office before I broke down into a puddle of tears. I think the worst part is that EVERYONE knows you're taking it so EVERYONE knows when you fail it. Humiliating.
People keep telling me that people with phD's fail this test. My boss took 3 times to pass it (if I take it in June, it'll be my 4th time). But it still makes me feel like a moron.

Your H is great.
I'm sorry imoan.
That sucks, imoan.
I could send you a Bedazzled imoan hat to cheer you up.
The fact that you thought to capitalize "Bedazzled" is the reason I like you.
And yeah, I'm lucky. It makes up for the fact that he's in Boston until Thursday and I wont be able to go home and cry on him for 2 hours.
