Where to go with a 6 month old?
I need some ideas for our summer vacation that we will be taking in July. Our DS will be about 6 months old. We were thinking about renting a cabin in the mountains that is a driveable location. We have been to the North GA mountains a few times so that is out. Are there any other places in the Smoky or Blue Ridge Mtns that you would recommend? We thought maybe of Gatlinburg, but I just think it would be a little too touristy.
Another thought that I had was the Fl Keys. I just don't know how enjoyable that would be for LO though in the heat & humidity.
We are open to other suggestions as well. We just want somewhere where we can rent a house/condo and that we can drive to. Budget for lodging would be around 1k for the week. We could go higher if we need to. Thanks!
