I have so much to do before we leave tomorrow for vacation. ILs have been asking to GTG for an early Christmas. They wanted us to come to their house yesterday. I just couldn't fit them in. DH rescheduled for tonight. We agreed to go out to dinner.
I texted DH this morning asking what time we were meeting them. I told him that I had so much to do, I'm trying to plan my evening.
I hear back from DH at lunchtime. He says ILs are now coming to our house tonight. He thought that would be easier on me since I have so much to do. Is he out of his mind?? Now I have to add clean the house & cook dinner to my list. I'm not prepared to cook for extra people. I'm going to have to go to the grocery store too. Gah!!!
Plus, their going on the cruise with us. Why do they need to come over tonight??? I need to pack!

I'd tell my husband to reschedule his parents to meet up at a restaurant - you don't need to think about cleaning, grocery shopping and cooking on top of everything else you need to do tonight

This! Boys don't think about stuff like the house is a mess.
I would show up at the front door in my worst clothes, hair a mess and the house a wreck. Blame him for "not telling you" and ordering in some pizza.

No, it just looks like I could use some sit-ups.
Ok, I don't need to kill DH anymore. I came home from work to find a semi-clean 1st floor. He left work a little early to come home & clean. (not the best cleaning job in the world, but I'll take it)
Then ILs called & decided to go out to dinner again. Cool. Phew.
ILs bought us a ton of Christmas presents anyway. Its been a good Christmas so far.
