Break!!
So... I got so busy with the end of the semester that I realized I didn't tell you girls that I'm officially on vacation for two weeks!! Woot woot! I'm sure I'll be seeing you guys a little more often in the coming days... 
Re: Break!!
Super jealous!! The only paid holiday day we're getting is Monday, the 26th, so I had to use 2 vacation days for the 27th and 28th to actually get to spend any time with DH (since he works on Mondays). I need 5 days off in a row and really, I should have taken Thursday and Friday too, but I'm trying to save up all the vacation/sick time I can. I THINK we might get January 2nd off too (I have to double check) so it'll be nice only working 2 days and then having a 3 day weekend.
The last time I had 2 weeks off was August 2009 when I was in between jobs, and the next time I'll have it off is when I go on maternity leave someday...that's depressing to think about lol. I miss being in college and having a month long winter break and summer breaks!

That's awesome. B has to teach up until Friday. Yes, that's right, the 23rd of December. Craziness. I don't imagine too many kids will be there that day, especially families who travel for Christmas. At least he gets two weeks still so we will have more time together after Christmas.
Enjoy your much deserved break. This is about the time of year that teachers tend to start going crazy so I hope you can do lots of relaxing and enjoying time to just do whatever you feel like (no marking, planning, etc).
My sister and her hubs are teaching until Friday too... but they have two weeks off after that. We go back the 3rd... You're right Lindsay... it is the time of year where we start going batty and need a rest.
