Just got back from the MFM and another growth check. My girls are measuring in the 98th%ile at 4.5 and 3.15 pounds! They are consistently measuring 2 weeks ahead, good fluid levels, etc. I am getting more optimistic with each passing week.
I also had them do a cervix check and FFN test (a swab to see if preterm labor is a strong possibility in the next 2 weeks) because I have been having a TON of contractions and haven't been checked since 22 weeks. The cervix check showed that my cervix is still closed and "has some length"... she said it is great for this stage in the game. She didn't bother sending in the FFN since the cervix exam was good. I feel MUCH better about everything, as the contractions have really been stressing me out. I was told by my (replacement) OB to only worry if I had more than 6 in an hour, which I always do. Luckily, we also start NST's this week so I'm feeling better about things in general.
Oh, and both babies are breech now which is kind of a bummer. I know they can still move but space is getting limited! And in case you missed it on FB, they have hair! Baby A actually looks like she has a rat tail it's so long, LOL. We found out around week 33 with Nolan that he had hair and he came out with a ton, so I imagine if we can see that they do already then they will probably have quite a bit too! Bring on the hairbows. ![]()
Thanks for the T&P and consoling my concerns when I was freaking out last week. I'm going to try to relax about it all now. ![]()
Re: BR: Contractions f/u
Great news! FLIP, GIRLS!

That's good news!
Sorry, I haven't been paying attention. But if they flip, are you going to try for a vaginal delivery? I know some docs insist on c-section with twins, so I wasn't sure.
Thanks ladies
It depends. If my OB is back from his surgery/recovery then he will do a vaginal delivery so long as A is head down and B is smaller. The other doctors in the practice will not unless both babies are head down, so we'll see!

This! Awesome news, Tiff:)
