Getting hot glue out of fabric

so very stupidly of me I didn't let it cool and tried to wipe it off while it was warm....how do I get the glue streak out of my favorite jeans?

Re: Getting hot glue out of fabric

  • Could you do a rag or a paper bag and an iron?  Put the barrier piece in between the iron and the jeans and it should absorb the glue.  That's what I've done with candle wax before with success.

Alternately, freezing the jeans might work.  Pop them in the freezer, the glue should harden and might be able to be scraped off.

  • Thanks I'll try!
