NYE Plans?
I'm way over the club scene and don't find that a fun way to spend NYE. H and I are also rather lazy and not into going to the Needle and freezing our tushies off or the nasty parking/traffic. I'm trying to see if any of our friends want to do a low-key game night or something at our house. Seems weird to be contemplating this before Christmas, but seems like most of our friends make plans pretty early (they all have other friends who invite them to do stuff, but not us).
What are you doing?

Dh and I stay home. We usually do a day full of appetizers and open an expensive bottle of champagne for midnight. Since moving here we watch the fireworks on TV. When we lived in AK, we could see the best fireworks display from our living room window.
h and i spent NYE in our hotel pool in tahiti one year...we were the only ones in there, and we brought with us a bottle of champagne and drank from the bottle. we shook it up a little bit and opened it so that it would spray..just like the movies. it was so much fun...you can try that
this year, h and i don't want to do anything! all of our friends want to go out-out, and h and i are just *so* not into that right now....we also have about 6 separate house-parties that we got invited to (this is the problem with having so many different defined "circles" of friends....). we'd really just rather hibernate by 10pm, but we're thinking we will just pick one of the house parties. not sure which one yet though.
