i got a $650 tip
from the event i catered on Sat night. i wasn't going to do much catering since i've been low on energy...but it was for my sister's best friend and i knew she'd let me have control over the menu. it was a birthday party open house for her parents (both turned 60 this month) and it was for about 75 people. I served mini crab cakes (awesome! got rave reviews), homemade meatballs with ricotta and basil, curry chicken salad in endive "cups", caprese skewers and an antipasto platter. i also made Hot Chocolate on a Stick for favors for the guests...super cute!
so yeah, i'm going to buy myself something cool. the sad part? i can't think of anything. ugh!
