I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I feel like I have a ton of stuff that I want to accomplish over the next 12 months. Care to share your list? It can be anything...
Re: Goals for 2012?
New rug and curtains for the living room
Run a 10k
Have more sex
Lose 15 lbs
Spray paint rusty window box brackets
Get Renee baptized
Paint the hallway
Those are some pretty great, concrete goals, WOP.
A few of mine:
Winter: reorganize boxed belongings, take inventory and keep list on door of attic
grow program for little job by 4 participants
start year long campaign to write more cards/letters/postcards to friends and family
Spring: secure internship
Summer: fun family getaway
Fall: finish masters classes
Nonseasonal (and maybe more hopes, as I don't have as much control over this as I'd like : find full time job
sell house
My only goal for this year is to:
be healthy, not to have to have any more surgeries, and be able to spend quality time with my LO. I feel like I have missed out on so much of her short 3 1/2 years due to major health issues
Mine are:
- Run a 5k
- Start our LLC (I think we finally agreed on a name.
)
- Get my AA (or at least get very close.)
Good goals, everyone. You got me thinking about this. Mine are:
- Edit my 2010 Nanowrimo book (or at least read it).
- Sort, print, and create albums for pictures from the past four years.
- Cut back on my volunteer hours.
- Make a decision about whether or not to have a kid someday.
Oh, wow! 2012 is going to be a big year! Does B want them, or is he on the fence too?
I want to add this to my list too, except for Baby #2. Do we want or don't we want?
Awww. I wish you lots of health and happiness for 2012!
2012 is intended to be decision year only. B is also on the fence. Hence, the total lack of decision for the past 6 years.
Good luck with your decision!
Goals are difficult for people like me with no ambition. :-P
I guess these are some things I want to do:
That's all I got.
Right, big year nonetheless. It's a big decision.
Good luck!
Thanks. We'll need it.
Kasa, that's a lot of pressure on 2012 (and you and
. I wish you clarity and peace with whatever you decide.

"other"
I want you guys to figure out what's best for you. I love babies and kids, but I want my friends to be comfortable and happy with their life choices more.
Oh yes. You will definitely want to include the results on your spreadsheet
Kasa, that's a great goal. Good luck with whatever you decide. There's no right or wrong. Some people just aren't into having kids, and that's ok. No shame.
I will say though, that being a mom is magical despite all the sleeplessness, crying, dirty diapers, and tears. At the end of the day it's totally worth it.
This is coming from someone who used to say they'd never have kids.
