Good Morning!

blender, FX for you today.

I was irrationally exhausted last night.  It was really strange.  Apparently chopping 4 large carrots into a fine dice is exhausting?  (also, remind me in the future to not pick a recipe for a week night that requires 4 large carrots chopped into a fine dice).

Today my boss is taking out group out to lunch at this awesome Greek restaurant in town.  Their food is soooooo good, and I'm really excited.

Tonight we're headed to the mall *shudder* to hopefully finish up Christmas shopping.  Now I just need to locate a few boxes to wrap things in.

How is everyone today?

Re: Good Morning!

  • Thinking of you today Blender.

    Good morning.

Lastnight I stopped at the store and picked up 3 humidifiers for our house. The one in the boys room crapped out, so they needed a new one. Figured I better get one for our room as well as the downstairs since the woodstove is running pretty much nonstop now.

Well I think I am the one who is finally getting the boys cold. Merry Christmas to me.  They still have a slightly runny nose, and a good cough, but I now I have sore throat, so I think it is the start of it.

Tonight I plan on finishing up the Netflix Dexter DVD that I fell asleep to lastnight.

    Have a great days lady.

  • Good morning!

    Thinking of you today, blender.

We took a trip to IKEA last night and picked up a new (bigger) dining table and a TV stand, so I'm home waiting for delivery this morning. I am way excited to spiff up this living/dining room.

Other than that, I did about 2/3 of the things I needed to do yesterday so I'll finish up those chores. If it warms up a little outside, I might take Darian to the library too since we have some books I need to return anyway.

  • Vibes, blender.

Morning! Last night was laundry night, and it took forever thanks to once of the machines opening up during a wash, so our drying was staggered. Oh well. We had a delicious pasta dish that Josh makes, then hit the hay. A very uneventful evening.

Today's another busy one at work, but in order to keep myself sane I'm focusing on the stuff I have to do instead of the stuff that's being tacked on that's not in my skill set. Taking that attitude kept me calm yesterday.

Tonight may be a gym night, but we'll see.

Off to get coffee. Have a great one, all.

  • Good morning!

We have our annual holiday concert today in periods 2 & 3, so I'm excitedly looking forward to only teaching 2 classes today! And one of them are getting a movie... so double yay.

I'm also totally exhausted today, in spite of going to bed at 9:30 last night. I think I need one more night of 9+ hours sleeping and hopefully, I'll be caught up. I have to pick up the last couple of gifts for my brother's stocking, and then all my shopping is finished! Whee!

  • Thinking of you, blender.

Last night I was busy finishing up my baking. That consumed most of my evening. Today should be quiet. So far I am one of a few people in my office. Tonight I need to get in a workout and then hopefully do some cleaning. I hate to wrap gifts yet as I'm still waiting for a few to arrive.

  • Sending vibes Blender! I am anxiously awaiting the news of how your u/s goes today.

Last night i baked 100+ cookies so that took up most of my night. I did wrap the last and final gifts and did some dishes.

I was hoping to take the boys to see christmas lights tonight, but it is supppose to rain so we are hoping for tomorrow night. I plan on doing some more baking tonight and cleaning. Today is jordan's last day of school so he will be excited to stay up a little later and I will be even more excited to not have to study for 9 weeks test!

  • Blender good luck!

Last night was good. I made a really delicious soup from some left over chicken. I'm trying to be really good and use everything I've got in the kitchen and not be so wasteful. I also made some sugar cookies in Christmas tree shape and some peppermint bark.

Tonight I hope to finish wrapping gifts, and watch the finale of Dexter. :)

  • T&P, Blender.

Double doses of Emergen-C and zinc, Kat.  Even if you get the cold, it won't last as long.

Working today and tomorrow, then off for a week.  Can't wait.

We got 4" of snow last night, and more coming tomorrow night.  It's about time - we have had very little snow so far this season.

  • Good morning!

I'm feeling super rested today after an extended weekend filled with many celebrations. Last night I finally got to try the pizza recipe in the cook book I got from Barbett. It was so good DH stuffed his face.

Today I plan on finally finishing up my Christmas shopping. Have a good day ladies!

  • Good morning!  I had a wonderful phone call with my BFF this morning, which made my whole day.  I'm really starting to get excited about our Christmas trip, which is making it even harder to concentrate on the work I need to do.  I did manage to get in closer to the right time this morning, but I haven't been very productive.  Someone needs to yell at me,

  • Blender - thinking of you!

Today sucks. My grandma died a year ago today.

I have a ton of stuff to do, but I can't focus. I tried writing Christmas cards to get my mind off things last night, but no dice. If it weren't for large proposal due out today, I'd be at home in bed.

  • Sending T&P's blender's way for a good u/s today!

I'm back in the office after being out yesterday. We were OOT for DH's niece's graduation. It's been a hectic morning and I have a few errands to run and didn't bring lunch so that will be interesting. Nothing planned for tonight but DH is off work so he's responsible for dinner which is one less thing for me to do tonight. Yay!

Hope everyone has a nice day!

  • kari - I'm sorry.  Take care of yourself.

Today has actually turned out to be one of the best days I've had all year at the smaller hospital.  The new full time pharmacist has completely cleared out the old pharmacists office and ACTUALLY followed up on patient care issues!  OMG

We have a new technician at work and she caused up some fun today.  We have 2 watches placed throughout the pharmacy that seriously look like they came out of a happy meal or something.  They have a button on them.  She picked one up, pressed the button and said "what's this?".  Umm...that's the panic alarm.  So, the police came to our little pharmacy to make sure things were okay.  It was pretty funny.  Also, one of the police officers was a former co-worker of DH and I from the movie theater days back in the 1990s.  It was nice to see him.

I hope the rest of the day is as productive and uneventful.  Pot luck at work tomorrow!
