Introducing Gemma Elle

Hi girls!  This morning at 8:05am we welcomed Gemma Elle into the world.  It was the best delivery ever.  I even got to watch via a mirror when they pulled her out.  What a thrill to have waited to find out the gender.  Jim and I were crying when they told us she was a girl.  My OB guessed her weight right on the money at 4 lbs. 10 oz!  A whole pound bigger than Hudson.  She was 17 inches long and passed her apgar test with a 9/9.  She never had to go to NICU which was the best news ever!  She's been BFing really well so far and maintaining her blood sugar and temperatures.  We couldn't be any happier.  Hudson is a very proud big brother and already very doting giving lots of hugs and kisses to his new sister.  He wanted to hold her right away and told her "its okay Gemma" when she cried.  We are so incredibly blessed and I want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.  I can't believe I have my take-home baby girl.
