In need of a bit of "nestie" well wishes for my fur-baby...
This is not a good season for our fur-babies...
H and I came home from a holiday party Saturday night and our little Irish Beagle Kinsey wasn't walking, and was clearly in severe pain. She may have been wrestling with the black dog, we're not sure, but when we took her to the Vet this morning, she was diagnosed with a compressed disc in her back, and immediate surgery was recommended.
H took her to the neurosurgeon, and he concurred. She is there now and will undergo a 4-5 hour surgery this afternoon. Her prognosis is good, as we caught it apparently before permanent nerve damage, but we won't know until she is out of recovery. Guys, please keep our little baby in your thoughts and prayers...we are just sick about this, and hope that this surgery is successful...
