Random/Weird/Inappropiate Office Gifts
After reading that blog article I posted in another thread, I was reminded of the old lawyer I worked for in high school.
One year he gave me a silk robe for Christmas.
Gross.

LOL, that is really bizarre.
I've never been the receiver of weird gifts. My old office did Christmas bonus' but no weird gifts.
My current Dr. buys me random things for various holidays. We brings me chocolate candies for various Indian Holidays - He brought me stainless steel water bottles for Thanksgiving. A target GC for my bday. ... Nothing totally weird - yet.
The silk robe is really weird.
One of my students bought me a pajama set last Christmas. It has beavers all over the pants & says 'Dam Tired' all over it too. I thought that a little weird from a middle schooler.

I received a beach towel and sunscreen application brush. It was weird, as I am not a beachy person (see whitest skin ever) and my boss wasn't either. Just strange.
I've never rec'd anything inappropriate.
The robe is crazy awkward.
During grad school I was a receptionist for a property management company. For Christmas the VP gave me a meat tenderizer. I mean, what? If you can't think of anything to give a woman, isn't the default some lotion or soap or something? Where did the meat tenderizer come from? Random.
