NSOR: All my lefty SO peeps with kids...
Are your kids right handed or left handed?
I am left handed. The only other person in my family that is (was, she passed away) left handed was my Grandmother on my Mom's side.
I am curious to see what hand your kid(s) use.
Oh and is their other parent a righty or lefty?

They see us rollin'...they be hatin'.
Re: NSOR: All my lefty SO peeps with kids...
DS is only 15 months... so far he is using both hands equally so I can't tell if he will be a righty or a lefty yet.
I am not sure if this is true, but if you look at your DS' hair (the swirl on the back top) and if it is going in a clock-wise direction, they say he will be right-handed and if the swirl is going in a counter clock-wise direction, he will be a lefty. Again, not sure if it is true, but check it out when you get home and see which is his dominant hand.

I'm not left handed but thought I would share. Both of my parents are right handed. I'm the oldest of 5:
Me and the 2nd oldest are both right
The next two are both left handed
The last uses both equally.
My son has a double swirl, so what does that mean? lol.
I am the ONLY lefty in my family as far as anyone can tell. Seriously no one on my mom's or dad's side is left handed as far back as people can remember. Talk about being the black sheep.
MH is righty but my FIL is a lefty, and MH's grandmother is a lefty, so I thought for certain my kids would have a good shot at being leftys.
My 5 yr old is ambidextrous but favoring her right. Prior to preschool she would switch hands and use either all the time. Then once she started learning to write she began using her right hand more. I have noticed though that she will still occassionaly use her left especially if I am the one showing her how to do something.
My two year old is looking like she is going to be a righty. She does eat with her left hand though so who knows.
I have two lefty cousins. Does that count? Both are super artistic.
There was a post on P&CE the other day about how there's a theory that all left-handed people were mirror image twins of a right handed twin who may or may not have disappeared during pregnancy. Perhaps you were an identical twin, RiverPestie!
Found the post.
My Lunch Blog
I am definetly going to check this out when I get home tonight. He does have a big swirl at the back of his head.
I'm the only lefty and DS definitely favors his left hand for coloring and eating. He'll use both hands for other things, but there's an obvious preferance for his left hand.
XH is right handed.
Interesting post! Thanks for sharing...
