I have to agree with these. I think they were also the only movies I saw in the theater (unless Hot Tub Time Machine came out this year?).

Harry Potter!
Probably going to see TinTin as well. My husband read the books (in french) growing up & has high expectations. I hope they don't let him down!!
Stand up for something you believe in.
We've been to the movies a handful of times this year. The one that stands out is, of course, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II. But, I also really enjoyed Everything Must Go with Will Ferrell.
I have high hopes for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and War Horse.

The Muppets! (shocker, I know)
From my Entertainment Board review: As my Nestie name might suggest, I'm a huge fan, and the heart and spirit of this movie reminded me of the Muppets I grew up with (especially The Muppet Movie).
There were so many reminders of The Muppet Show (and by association Jim Henson) - every time I heard a line or a song, my heart swelled and I misted up a bit. My sister made fun of me for bringing tissues but sure enough she needed them twice as well.
Like Walter (the new character), I would sometimes get made fun of for loving what seem to be childish things like The Muppets ... but I think there's a humanity to them - love, warmth, humor, hope, and belief that we can make dreams come true - that recognizes those of us with the same values and fans the flame. I love that the movie can touch so many die-hard fans in such deep ways while also being funny and silly and catchy and entertaining to the masses and, more importantly, to a new generation.
I still haven't seen Bridesmaids!
I'm reading this and realizing almost all my movie watching happens on a plane!
1. Kings Speech (saw in 2011)
2. Bridesmaids!!!!!!
3. Moneyball
Probably missing a to-die-for fav but that's what I'm remembering off the top of my head.
The last Harry Potter came last week (netflix) and I can't wait to see it, I'm sure I'll love it.
We didn't see anything in theaters. We watched Bridesmaids on netflix and we both underwhelmed, yea it had its moments but it was definitely way way way over-hyped and not really that funny, IMO.
Horrible Bosses was good, I liked Adjustment Bureau.
I usually like all movies but when something is really hyped up, I find it does not live up to its expectations.
