Help me with NYE wedding makeup!
I'm a bridesmaid in a New Year's Eve wedding. I'm getting my hair did but am doing my own makeup. Too pricey for both, yo.
Our dresses are strapless, floor length, and goldish in color.
Need some ideas for what sort of color palette for my makeup.
Anyone have good links or ideas? TIA.

as for makeup brands - i'm all about bare minerals these days. i like the loose powders and the blending they provide.
I think any colors in this palette would work for you. You could get a lot of looks out of this, especially for NYE. I have this and love it.

I'm going for a light spray tan a few days ahead of time. I'm pretty pasty right now.
I have to agree i really love bare minerals for the foundation. i bought some for my brother's wedding and have been using it once in a while. i have very irritable skin so it has been super kind.
as for eyes i'd look up some pinterest tutorials.
i would do a dramatic brown smokey eye with some gold highlights to brighten it up

For the last wedding I was in, we wore chocolate brown. I went to the MAC counter and had them do a trial on me with a similar color scheme and it looked great especially with my brown hair/eyes. I can't get on FB at work but if you want to check out my pics, it was from Oct 2009
