My Lunch Blog
DHS has been up my A$$ since DD was born just checking in and everything but I was wondering..if I file again for cash assistance and say Im homeless since my mother is kicking me out , will DHS take my DD away?
I don't even know how to respond to this. Other than I want to take little Raevyn, change her name and keep her.
I'm starting to think she's just a troll.
I don't think she is. She is constantly posting on the Bump trying to get people to meet her in person. Trolls don't do that (usually).
My Lunch Blog
EXACTLY what I was thinking. (Which is funny, because I audibly groaned when I saw that was the little girl's name).
Oh for the love of sweet baby Jesus.
.... what is a Troll exactly? At first I thought it was just a name shout, but the second portion leads me to believe there is a different definition????
Why has DHS been up your ass so far?
A good percentage of my job is working with families whose kids have issues through the legal system. It is absolutely painful to meet certain kids, see their families and just know that nothing we do for them can make up for the fact that the parent is oblivious and does not have the child's best interest at hear. Do not be one of those people. Breaking up with the BF and following Mom's rules, to the letter, it better than being homeless with a baby. If you cannot make Raevyn that much a priority, literally do whatever it takes to keep her in a safe place, with food and stability, then DHS should take her. Having to ask the government for help is fine if it allows you to provide a good life for your child while you work on getting things together. But in every post it sounds like your priority is keeping the BF, who is not the baby daddy, around and happy even though he has clearly demonstrated he doesn't give a crap about you.
When I was unemployed I spent several hours every day applying for jobs. I treated applying for jobs as if it were my job. You need to be delivering or filling out 3 applications every single day until you get a job. This includes Target, Wal Mart, McDonalds, Goodwill, whatever. Other people's suggestion of a daycare facility where you can bring Raevyn yesterday was a good one.
If you don't want to get nasty snark on here do something and prove us wrong. Prove that you can be a good, supportive mother, that your baby is your priority, and that you can make good decisions for her benefit.
