Celebrating New Years in Atlanta (gay clubs)
This request might be a little too specific but my best friends and I want to make a weekend of it in Atlanta for New Years. We live in Central NC and are not very familiar with gay clubs in Atlanta. We would prefer a dance club that plays top 40/electronic music. We are not really looking for a bar setting. Any suggestions and places to stay in a central location would be awesome. We will probably doing a bit of shopping and hitting up Zara as we do not have one here! Thanks so much:)

I live in Atlanta and live in Midtown which is very gay friendly. If I was coming to Atlanta I would stay here. It's very walkable and there is a lot in the area. Along Peachtree Street from 14th South to around 6th are lots of restaurants and things going on.
Burkhart's, Blakes, Mixx and Traxx are a few that come to mind. Opera is a dance club that is mix of gay and straight and can be fun. Reign is a new dance/lounge club that opened up a few months ago.
