Who Should You Vote For? (clicky... ABC News quiz)

Okay, so I posted this on Facebook yesterday, but I found it to be VERY interesting. So who is your result? Share if you feel like it, and also if you feel like it... is it who you expected?

Re: Who Should You Vote For? (clicky... ABC News quiz)

  • My match was Obama, followed by Huntsman. Neither was surprising. However, my third match was Perry. I was not expecting that!

  • Barack Obama, John Huntsman, Mitt Romney were my 3.  Interesting quiz!

  • Obama, Huntsman, Paul.

I had to pick the closest answer on taxes, gay marriage and immigration because I don't agree with any of the statements made.

  • Like Okla, I had to pick the closest answer on quite a few...and it said Rick Perry.

    No goddamned way.

I had to do this too because some of them were sketchy. I had Obama, then Romney. I don't remember my third.. Paul maybe.

What's funny.. I filled it out again, this time going with what I least agreed with. Bachmann came up that time.

  • Also, I wish I could see what candidate said what. Am I just missing it?

I think you have to go through the quiz and pick which statement you want to know about to find out who said that one. Frustrating because I wanted to see who said what too.

  • In very odd news, I got Obama as my #1 (duh), but Bachmann was my #2.  WTF?  I also had to go with the closest of several options I didn't really agree with on several questions.

ETA:  I took it again and chose different answers on a couple of the ones where I didn't really like any of the choices, and I came out with Ron Paul as my #2 that time.  I think I may have gotten Bachmann the first time because of my answer on education.

For some reason, this made me literally LOL.

  • Honestly, there were a few questions I have no strong opinion (or knowledge) on.

That said, my results were: #1 Bachmann, #2 Paul, #3 Gingrich

  • A lot of those questions I don't really think matter. In fact, I am not sure why they continue to be up for debate other than some people are ignorant enough to vote ONLY BECAUSE of that candidate's belief on that specific item.

    Same here.

    My results: 1st - Obama, 2nd - Bachmann, 3rd - Romney.

It's because you think poor kids have no work ethic.

  • Also, it gave me names of people who dropped out that I've never heard of. I may need to retake it. I also didn't like any options on a few and agree that these aren't necessarily my key issues at all in some areas.

Which ones don't you think matter?

For me, immigration, taxation, and one other one they asked don't matter as much to me.

Taxation is my #1 for sure.  But abortion? Is not (to me). Although it Roe vs Wade *could* be overturned, I just don't ever see this happening.  I think you could put every single conversative, crazy Republican in office and this wouldn't happen.  This always ends up being some sort of hot topic debate and I nearly kill myself rolling my eyes.

I get that you see this as unlikely on a national level, but locally we've passed things in recent years that amount to the same and having a president who nominates reasonable people to the supreme court who will overturn things like that matters to me.

  • there were questions I didn't like any of the answers to or didn't really have an opinion on too, but I got Obama, Gingrich, Bachmann.

There were several answers I just picked the closest answers. There were several I didn't like any of the answers. I don't know enough about the candidates to say who my pick would be.
