I read your post below about desserts & looking for gluten free Oreos.

(most) King Soopers & Vitamin Cottage's carry "Newman's Own Organics" and they make a gluten & dairy free "Newman O."  They are very tasty.

Re: ::swinsto::

  • Never mind, I was thinking of the wrong company. Those have gluten just not wheat. Let me look and see if I have any gluten free one's and I'll give you the name.

    ETA: I made DH look in the pantry. The kind we love that's actually gluten free is Mi-Del. You can also pick those up at King Soopers

  • Yay! Thank you - I found some on Amazon as a backup, but it will be great to be able to pick them up locally. Are they any good? My brother has celiac's, but I don't so I've never tried them :). And do they have the vanilla sandwich cookies, too? I might make chocolate and vanilla truffles if they do. . .

  • They do have vanilla they just are not as easy to find but you could always call and ask around. They are really good. It's been such a long time since I've had regular oreos but I think they taste great.
