Just curious. Friday is a paid holiday for me, but both my mom and dh have to work.

We get two paid holidays for Christmas. This year it's Friday/Monday. Yay!

Oh, and the boss said I could "work from home" on Thursday. SWEET!

We actually have paid holiday for Friday, December 23 through Monday January 2! A few years ago when we had to cut everyone's salary this is a benefit that I suggested we implement to keep staff morale up. We implemented it and it has not gone away even though salaries have been returned to what they were and increased in most instances!

I don't or do depending on how you look at it since I'm SAHM, but DH gets friday and monday off paid vacation and he's taking PTO on Thursday. I'm excited to have him home for a 5 day weekend...that's usually my limit though, after 5 days or so I need him to go work so I get back to my normal daily routine, but I do love the extra hand/ears/patience when he's home.

My office is the oddball then (not that I am complaining, I guess). I also have Monday off as a paid holiday.

But then, we have Fri 12/30 off as a paid holiday next week also, but we DON'T have Mon 1/2 off. So weird. I have to take it off anyway because dd's daycare is closed.

Oh and I would LOVE to take a week or two off, unpaid even!

Our holidays are next week Monday, Tuesday, Friday and the following Monday 1/2. I'm only off the Mondays.

Of course, I have to be around teenagers all day, grade incredibly bad essays, and deal with parents who think their kids are the next Einsteins, so don't be too jealous.
