I haven't been on for a few days, so just getting caught up. Wanted to let you know your family is in my T&Ps.
When I was in private practice, I did probate work and I can tell you firsthand that people fight over the most ridiculous, materialistic things and it tears families apart. Generally after a child has been through this, they are quick to get their estate plan in order so the same thing doesn't happen with their children. You are right to be focusing on spending time with your grandmother, because time is the only thing that truly matters.
