Great job opportunity for DH! Had to share! :D

So it looks like my hubby will be changing jobs here in the next couple weeks and we are SO excited!!! He's a cook and took the job he's at now when we moved here bc they were really flexible when we were having the baby etc. However, the food sucks, the pay sucks and he's generally not all that happy there.

BUT!!! A friend he used to work with got him "in" with a wine bar restaurant local chain that does really well! It's great bc he'll finally be cooking decent food, there is lots of room for creativity, he can make his own specials, pay is better and once he shows them how awesome he is he'll get paid more. Plus there is the understanding that he will be the head chef when they open another new restaurant. This is PERFECT.

He left the opportunity to be the sous chef at one of the best restaurants in the area before we had the baby so now he's finally getting back on track. We want to open our own place eventually and this will be great experience of a local, ma and pop, very successful place which is similar in business structure to what we want! And it's a great place to make connections for people in the industry in this town! YAY!! So excited!!!

This also means we will be buying a house here in the spring! yay!!! Things are looking good for us!!!
