Re: WTF Wednesday
Good WTF: Even though the economy kind of sucks lately, we really do have good bosses that bring by our Christmas bonuses every year. This year mine was even more than any year before! SCORE!
Bad WTF: I have about 20 hours of cleaning to accomplish in two evenings...I might grab a bottle of sparkling grape juice and say f**k it (like was mentioned in Veronica's post)! : )
Mine are combined because both the good and the bad are WTF my inlaws start arriving today!! I'm actually really excited about seeing them and doing all sorts of fun cooking/eating/drinking/beaching activities, but well, we all know the length of their stay, so......
GOOD WTF: WTF? The Christmas spirit must have just overwhelmed EX b/c she texted Nelson back this morning & said that he could come pickup SD tomorrow for lunch which means that I will have a gift from her under the tree after all. It's a Christmas miracle!
BAD WFT: YTF did I have that extra glass of wine last night? I feel like crap today.
Good WTF: WTF it's only 4 days til Christmas!! I'm super excited!!
Bad WTF: WTF it's only 4 days til Christmas! I need to clean and finish my meal plans and shop!
WTF SD's only idea for DH was something we already had now there's no time to find something else (I don't do store shopping right before Christmas, I would have ordered off amazon and got 2 day Prime shipping) :-( Guess she might not have anything to give him this year unless she wants to highjack something I bought him. Oh well maybe next year she'll remember to start looking more than a week before Christmas.

Good and bad WTF at the same time:
Good - You could not imagine the goodies my coworkers have brought in this week. Cookies, fudge and donuts - OH MY!
Bad - I can't stay away from this schitt. Out of sight, out of mind, my ass!!! It's all their fault why I carry some extra baggage in my face in Christmas photos every year.
My lack of will power has nothin' to do with it. I plead the 5th.
Good WTF: DH actually took time off work this week. In the 5+ years we have been together, he has *never* taken a day off just to have a day off. I think today he may run and get a couple gift cards we need yet and then be lazy the rest of the day.
WTF I am finally starting to get in the Christmas spirit. I am looking forward to the craziness we have over the weekend and can't wait to see everyone again.
Bad WTF: WTF we are not going to even have a chance at a White Christmas this year. It's December 21 and we still have not had any snow this month. I really really want a little snow to make it feel like the holidays.
Good WTF: It actually helps to complain to customer service people! I just found out yesterday that LLBean has brought back lunchboxes that can be monogrammed! I called and asked/complained about them a while ago and they said they would make a note for whoever that people want them back. I've had mine for about 3-4 years so of course it has my maiden initials on it. H and I both ordered new ones last night, so after almost 2 years of being married it will finally be right again! And they were free monogramming (thanks MIL) and 15% off!
Bad WTF: DH is sick
I think he has whatever I've been fighting these last 4 weeks and he said this morning he is pretty sure he has an ear infection as well. The both of us have missed so much work right at a time when we are desperately trying to save it and it sucks. I really hope he gets better soon so he doesn't feel like crap over our 3 day weekend together.
Bad WTF: There is one particular co-worker who is so negative about everything and everyone. And she's so self-promoting that she just went ahead and sent an email to the entire HS staff to report on an event that I DID ALL OF THE PLANNING for. Go ahead, take the credit. It's fine. I wanna punch her in the face.
Good WTF: After today, I have 1 1/2 days of work to get through. And one of our seniors that graduated last year came to visit. He's now attending Harvard and has a 3.8 GPA. OMG so proud of him. I love these kids!
