Vent...

hi.

I need to vent. I know you girls are the only ones who will understand. I really feel like you are the only ones I can talk to about this and will actually get it.

Two college couples have told Judd and I today that they are pregnant. We have three couples that are due this month and one of which was totally a surprise and we will coincidentally be in her town at the same time the baby is born. I'm going to have to almost fake being excited to see that baby when I'm trying not to tear up.

Yesterday, someone told me that I should wait to have children until I'm totally ready, have been married awhile, have a good job, completed my education and have visited all the places I want to go. I'm 26, married 2.5 years, have a great job, almost a masters and have been to 12 countries. What are you talking about?!

To top it off, I finally made my appointment with my ob/gyn to sort out my apparent issues that are SO OBVIOUS on my charts. I'm almost sure they are going to put me on some type of hormones and I am scared to death it will be harder to fix than that.

Ugh! No one else get this!

Re: Vent...

  • I'm sorry you are going through that. It's really emotionally draining.  I don't really have any advice or anything, just wanted to say hang in there.

How long have you guys been actively TTC?  What is going on that you are seeing on your charts?

  • Hang in there! It does suck to watch others be successful around you while not having answers for yourself.  The right dr made my experience worthwhile so hopefully you find a good one yourself. xoxo

This is my first month charting but the doctor says there is a chance I have hormone issues too. It sucks. :(

    Hang in there!

  • Hopefully your chart will be helpful and everything will get sorted out quickly.

BTW, totally jealous of your travels.

  • People always like to throw in their advice on when and whether you should have children. I've never really understood that, especially when people don't know whether you're trying and having difficulty getting pregnant since it's not something you walk around telling people.

  • Hugs! I can't imagine how stressful that must feel. Hopefully you can get the problems solved quickly without too much medical intervention.

  • Sometimes people say things to try and make you feel better and it comes out all wrong. Im sorry and yes, even though I've never TTC I can understand how you're feeling about all these babies. I can put myself in your shoes and think "it's not fair." I'm so sorry hon. I really pray you get some answers soon. Feel free to vent anytime.

     TMI warning!!!

We've been charting for three months. I'm thinking I have very low progesterone. My temp changes are all odd and I'm almost constantly spotting. I have positive ovulation dates but my luteal phases are insanely odd.

  • Hi girls!

I just wanted to say thank you! You guys are awesome!!
