I was going to say happy Winter Solstice too, but apparently that's tomorrow. Huh.
The mall last night wasn't too terrible. We got most of the things we needed and managed to stay calm. When we got home I wrapped up what we'd bought. I still have a couple of things to pick up, but it should be pretty easy.
Tonight I hope to finish up my gift baking and get that all packaged up!

Morning ladies.
Well I guess the roads outside are a pure skating rink from the boarder of ME/NH to Falmouth, ME. Luckily, I beat it and got into work before it started. My sister just called and said that she is pretty much at a stop on a major route, and has shut her vehicle on and off a few times.
Today is my Friday (YAY)!!!! So I am having a focus day at work, and trying to get as much wrapped up as I can before the holiday's. Tonight I have my waxing (which I can't wait for my brows are in desperate need).
Plus side....someone must have swapped kids lastnight, because Zach didn't wake up screaming! I ran into his room this morning just to make sure he was still there and breathing. I forgot what a full night sleep felt like.

Hah, raynes, my husband wished me a happy solstice. I said thanks, but told him he was off by a day. He pouted a bit.
Last night we got home, vented about work, then made some tuna steaks and crash potatoes for dinner. After that, we each read for a while and then went to bed.
Today at work will be more of the same. Tonight will definitely be a gym night.

Good morning. My cold took a turn for the worst and now I'm cough up goo, so I'll be going to the doctor today. Normally, I'm not one for the random use of antibiotics and was ok with just letting it run it's course, but this is nasty and I want it checked out before we go out of town. Hopefully I won't have to wait too long, since I'm just going to the walk-in clinic.
Other than that, I'm just working down my list today and then Jim and I are going to decorate some Ninjabread (sugar cookie) Men and other fun shapes this evening.

I had a good evening. I officially finished my Christmas shopping! Several packages are scheduled to be delivered today so I'd like to get some wrapping done tonight. "Normal" day of work for me again; still very few people here. Have a great day, ladies!

Anyway, good morning! I both love and hate the last week of school - either the kids are totally mellow or they're bouncing off the walls.
I've just got to finish off the presents for my Dad, and I'm all set for Christmas! We're buying my parents a "how to be a grandparent" book as our way of coming out of the closet and telling them. I won't lie and say I'm not nervous about this. I'm really scared of getting everyone's hopes up!

Good morning all. I'm taking a few minutes to post, which things at the office are at a few minute lull. I have a closing today and another one tomorrow, followed by at least 2, if not 3 next week. It's the most hectic year end I've ever had, and I can honestly say, that I cannot wait for it to be over.
Anyway, I am thoroughly looking forward to Christmas Eve. B and I are going to see Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and getting Dim Sum in Chinatown. I can't believe the holidays are already here.

Jordan spent the night with my grandmother last night so I skipped cooking and me and preston had subway and a bannana and played with trucks. I did get some baking done and I am fairly confident I will have everything done by Friday.
Today is a very slow day at work. I had hoped to take the boys to see christmas lights tonight a few towns over but its so nasty and wet outside we might skip it and hang out and watch christmas movies instead. DH has to work tonight so it will just be me and the boys.
Good morning ladies! Today will be a typical work day for me. I'm hoping to get a lot done because I really want to leave early on Friday but I don't want to ask unless I can say I've completed all my to do list.
Tonight I'm going to be baking cupcakes for my coworkers as their Christmas gift. I know a lot of people are taking Friday off so it will be best to bring them in tomorrow.

Today was my last day of school, so I am now officially on vacation! I am so excited. Tomorrow I plan to do laundry, wrap presents, and nothing else. Then Friday we head to my parents!

Today was a pretty good day at work. We had our lunch potluck and I was surprisingly restrained. I find I'm getting full much more quickly.
I could have strangled DH last night. We bought a black light to search for cat pee - to see if there is any we don't know about and see if our cleaning efforts have worked. Well, the cat marked on DH's shower in the basement last week and ever since, we keep the door closed. Well, DH discovers he left the door open for about a half hour and the cat has freaking peed in the shower again. Seriously, your one job is to shut the door! I'm proud that I was as calm as I was. So, tonight I get to scrub down the shower with cleaner and then Nature's Miracle and while i'm at it, I might has well scrub floors. Yay.
