I need a rockin' appetizer!
I really want to make an amazing appetizer for my family Christmas! We've done jalapeno popper dip, buffalo chicken dip, chicken salad dip, pickle roll-up dip, the works! I would love something new! Does not have to be a dip :-). Thoughts?!
Re: I need a rockin' appetizer!
I can get an amaznig spinach dip! It's from Robin's Wood Oven Grill, it was a south side place, SOO good, and sad they're gone.
It's the ONLY one I've ever had that doesn't have artichoke in it. I'm not a huge artichoke fan.
I have made this a few times and everyone seems to love it. it's super easy too
Cheddar Bacon Dip (a.k.a Crack)16 oz sour cream
1 packet Ranch dressing mix
3 oz bacon bits (in the bag not jar)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Mix together and refrigerate 24 hours. Serve with chips and/or veggies.
My favorite is cheesy crab dip. It's super easy, too.
1 (8 oz) block of cream cheese
1 stick of butter
Half a big block of Velveeta cheese
1 can of crab meat
Melt all ingredients together, keep warm in a crock pot. Serve with tortilla chips.

*drools* They are delicious.
Bacon wrapped water chestnuts never last long at our house.
It wouldn't be Christmas without pickle rollups either.
